I am a Nottingham-based freelance writer with more than 25 years PR experience in the public, private and charity sectors and newspaper journalism.
Trained by the National Council for the Training of Journalists, I began my career working on provincial newspapers in the Midlands, later joining the world of Government Communications.
I write clear, concise and compelling copy to tight deadlines and am adept at turning complex, technical or dry subject matter into readable prose.
Clients have included the Department for Transport, English Heritage and the Hungarian Government.
My writing has won me a Crystal Award from the Plain English campaign and a listing among the top ten UK cancer bloggers.
