Literary Events

These are some of the events I’m involved in this year.

You’ll find a brief description, venue, timings and a link for more info. 

States of Independence, 22 March, De Montfort University, Leicester

I’ll be representing my publisher, Inspired Quill at this festival which celebrates independent presses from across the UK.

The event includes keynote speakers, panel discussions and opportunities for a one-to-one with a literary agent.

I’ll also be leading a creative writing workshop, details to be confirmed. 

Throughout the day I’ll be running a bookstall with IQ author Anne Goodwin.

Newark Book Festival, Saturday 12th July - Sunday 13th July

Book stall at Newark Book Festival

Seek out the Inspired Quill bookstall at Newark Market Place where I’ll be selling books and chatting to readers alongside IQ author Anne Goodwin. 

There’s lots going on at the festival including literary workshops, author talks, street food and entertainment.

Timings: Saturday 9:30 am – 4:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am – 3:30 pm

Sherwood Art Week, Nottingham, 4-5 July

I’ll be selling books at this event with other members of the SherWords creative writing group. 

We’ll also be exhibiting associated artwork and illustrated poetry. 

Venue: St Martin’s Church,12 Trevose Gardens, Sherwood, Nottingham NG53FU

Timings: Friday 4th July: 10am – 4pm, 6-8pm

Saturday 5th July: 10am – 12pm,   7–10pm
